Radio 1 - The Ryan Tubridy Show - The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Challenge is on RTE 1 Television at 10.45pm on Thursday 17th August. It charts the progress of the winners of the 2005 Ernst &Young Awards as they travel to Africa. Ryan spoke to Michael Carey, Chief Executive and Chief Shareholder of Jacob Fruitfield, Jerry Kennelly , founder of Stockbyte Photography and www.createafrica.com and Aidan Heavey of Tullow Oil about their work in Africa. BBC World Service - Aidan Heavey, was a 33-year-old chartered accountant with no experience of the oil industry when he founded Tullow Oil in 1985. Today, his business is one of Europe's largest independent oil companies, making more than $2m a day. He talks to Peter Day about corporate social responsibility and Tullow-funded projects aimed at helping African villages escape the poverty cycle and develop commercial enterprises.
