Private Equity
Ernst & Young have long recognised the importance of Private Equity in the Transactions market and we have aligned our services model to specifically address its needs. The team covers all aspects of the transaction including deal generation, due diligence, tax restructuring, as well as portfolio care services to optimise returns for the businesses and their investors. In Europe Ernst & Young were involved with nine out of the top ten deals in 2004.

Infrastructure Advisory
Comprising a network of over 110 specialists in the UK, our dedicated Infrastructure Advisory team focuses on Private Finance Initiative (PFI) and Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects as well as limited resource project financings for industrial projects.

Transaction Support
The Transaction Support group advises clients across the whole transaction process. Whilst traditional financial due diligence is a key element of the service, Transaction Support is much broader, incorporating commercial due diligence, operational improvement, transaction management, negotiation and documentation, and post-completion integration. We advise on a range of transactions including pre-acquisition; vendor due diligence and deal support; bid defence; MBOs, MBIs and leveraged Buy-Ins; and flotations.
