Lord Harris, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, of Carpetright has been awarded the title of UK Overall Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2007.
Lord Harris, who also won Master Entrepreneur Of The Year award, follows in the recent footsteps of Tim Richards, Vue Entertainment, Peter Cullum, Towergate Underwriting Group Ltd and Sir Bill Gammell, Cairn Energy. Other past award recipients also include Sir Stelios, Charles Dunstone and Linda Bennett. Lord Harris goes on to the Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards in June 2008 in Monte Carlo, with 40 National EOY winners from around the Globe. Read the full story.
