Our Global Code of Conduct

Our Global Code of Conduct is a clear set of standards for our business conduct. It provides the ethical and behavioral framework on which we base our decisions every day. The Code is anchored in our values and beliefs and underpins all that we do.

Our Global Code of Conduct (pdf, 177K) provides a series of guiding principles grouped into five categories that cover the breadth of our activities. They are:

  1. Working with one another
  2. Working with clients and others
  3. Acting with professional integrity
  4. Maintaining our objectivity and independence
  5. Respecting intellectual capital
By delivering on the promise of our Code, we will deliver quality in everything we do to help our clients, our communities and ourselves to succeed and grow. Should you be aware of conduct that may be unethical, illegal, in violation of professional standards, or otherwise inconsistent with the Ernst & Young Global Code of Conduct, you can report it to the EY/Ethics hotline.
