Entrepreneurs, seeing beyond today to create tomorrow.
We’re looking for entrepreneurial leaders and visionaries — men and women who create market-leading businesses, contribute to the strength of their communities and the economy, and help raise the bar of business excellence.
Celebrating entrepreneurs and the businesses they build and grow has been a priority for Ernst & Young for more than two decades, and we are proud to continue this distinguished tradition through the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The YearŽ — the most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs.
The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award recognizes the men and women who excel at what they do - pioneers and innovators such as Michael Dell of Dell Inc.; Pierre Omidyar of eBay, Inc.; Herb Kelleher of Southwest Airlines; Jim McCann of
1-800-Flowers.com; Richard Caruso in Integra LifeSciences Corp. and Matthew Szulik of Red Hat, Inc.

Legacy of honoring entrepreneurial excellence
The annual Entrepreneur Of The Year awards begin each year with programs across the United States. Seven to 10 winners in varying award categories in each program are selected from among nominees by independent judging panels, comprising local business, financial, academic and media figures. In 2008, 26 US regions hosted Entrepreneur Of The Year awards and honored their winners at award galas in June. All regional winners are contenders for the national awards.
Leaders of high growth companies provided instantaneous feedback during both the IPO and Strategic Transactions and the Growth Strategies tracks on critical issues facing their companies and yours. View a selection of our most interesting poll results.
