    With a significant Irish Capital Acquisitions Tax rate and higher US federal gift and estate tax rates (despite intended reductions), ignoring the potential impact of these transfer taxes or indeed capital gains and income taxes can be expensive.

    With a significant Irish Capital Acquisitions Tax rate and UK Inheritance Tax rates (including proposed changes to Deemed Domiciles), ignoring the potential impact of these taxes or indeed capital gains tax and income taxes, can be expensive.

  • Personal Tax Compliance and Controversy Services

    Our Private Client team provides a full suite of personal tax compliance services for individuals, trustees and estates. We aim to ensure that personal tax returns are prepared and filed with Revenue on a timely basis to avoid late filing surcharges or interest. We also liaise and interact with other EY offices internationally to help clients meet foreign tax filing obligations.

    We also have extensive experience dealing with all types of Revenue interventions, such as Revenue Enquiries, Revenue Audit, and Revenue Investigations and more recently Revenue’s proposed measure to preclude a person from making a qualifying disclosure in relation to foreign income and assets after 1 May 2017. We can help prepare disclosures on behalf of clients and negotiate effectively with Revenue to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
