  • Share

The International Intern Leadership Conference 2014 kicks off in Orlando, Florida on 29 July 2014! Nearly 3000 EY interns will celebrate the conclusion of their internships at Walt Disney World where they will focus on their professional development by attending workshops and participating in innovative team-building activities. They will also hear from our leaders and network with peers who, like themselves, will be the future leaders of EY.

Hear our attendees speak on the experience of being a part of the IILC initiative.

My EY experience has been transformational!

On my first day at EY, I walked in as an energetic college graduate wanting to learn all that there is to our profession. EY moulded my talent and energy, channelized it into learning how to convert raw input into world class deliverables. EY acknowledged my work and rewarded me for consistently doing my part in "building a better working world".

My experience with Risk Advisory Division has been extremely enjoyable. I have had opportunity to apply all what I learned in dynamic - real world environment. I have travelled across various cities, worked with best of the clients across sectors like Telecom, Oil & Gas, and FMCG. I have enjoyed working in fast-paced environment where our work as team has had direct impact on the operations of our clients. I have had extremely supportive and motivating managers who have given me opportunity to work on diverse & challenging projects. Inspire of being an Intern, I have been assigned tasks independently and been allowed to directly interact with clients.

I have had amazing opportunities to network with team members across service lines in EY & with clients across spectrum of industries. EY Internship has made the learning experience a truly memorable one.

Completing 3 years in less than 30 days…..! That’s me and EY

It sounds really good. But to me, honestly, I still can see myself entering GVT lobby for the first time on a bright sunny Monday morning. A kid; straight from school as I was at that time, knew nothing much but some pieces of technical scriptures (which they call AS, Co Law etc. etc. in India). And today, confident enough to discuss issues with business leaders; I see the difference that EY has made to me.

When I got a call to join EY as an intern I was very nervous but at the same excited. Nervous because I didn’t know whether I would meet the expectation of such a big firm and excited because now I knew a great path lay ahead of me.

My experience with EY has been one that a baby has in his new family. I was appreciated, scolded and taught not just regarding assurance but things which are expected from a professional. Thus, EY is shaping me into a better person both personally and professionally. Every day I learning something new, meet new people, absorb different experiences and at the end of the day I feel satisfied and that’s the thing that EY has provided me – joy in my training.

It has been almost 2 years, since I joined EY. The journey has been nothing short of an amazing one. The amount of exposure and recognition I got as an intern, it's been just great. Be it working tirelessly, star tax, tax schools, I have really enjoyed my stay in EY during the past 2 years.

Life as an Intern in EY was a journey in itself. It is a dynamic place to work for with a blend of challenge, learning and professionalism. Every day was a gift of quality that added on. In the end, the ‘who you are’ was worth the ups and downs you underwent.

My journey with EY has been an unforgettable experience so far. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity of starting my career with EY. It has instilled in me confidence, assertiveness and a bit of reasonable aggression I would say. It has provided me with role models, mentors and good friends.

Being at EY defines that you're a part of something big/global.

My time at EY has been fulfilling and the journey so far has been an exceptional learning experience. I have, in my time with the firm developed myself holistically and have been given many opportunities that would not be afforded to interns in other organisations.

My 3 years at EY have been the ones in which I have learnt the most from life. I was a 19 year old just out of school, with almost nil exposure to anything close to life at EY. My time here not only did help me gather knowledge across industries, but also build up qualities like assertiveness, better communication, confidence, etc. What I like the most are the vast opportunities that the firm offers which give everyone a chance to learn more and grow along with EY.
