The UK has undertaken a substantial reform of its tax system to make it more attractive for businesses to invest in and through the UK. In particular, the UK is seeking to reward innovation activity through two key initiatives: R&D tax credits and Patent Box, both these areas are being relevant to Indian headquartered groups. This webcast will focus on the relevance of these two tax incentives for Indian multinationals and focus on the key sectors for India where the benefits from these tax incentives could be significant.

Ernst & Young LLP (UK) - Partner & Head of R&D Tax Services

Frank leads the National R&D Tax Practice at EY UK and has over 15 years experience with R&D tax claims in both the UK and Canada. He has extensive experience in R&D claims across industry's and advises on developing approaches and implementing internal systems to manage the R&D process contemporaneously and is an active member HMRC’s R&D consultative committee.

Carol is the senior policy lead at HMRC for both the UK patent box regime and the UK R&D credit regime.
