Assurance : actualité réglementaire et fiscale
30

AIF Club – Valuation oversight for AIFMs

Since the implementation of the AIFMD four years ago – particularly referring to the valuation policies and processes – we thought it would be a good idea to run a roundtable discussion with different valuation oversight experts and professionals across the main asset classes. The focus of this roundtable would be to discuss issues but also best practices, organizational aspects and the applicable valuation frameworks in order to identify whether common market practices are emerging moreover to challenges that remain to be addressed.

Combined AIF Club and Tax Club event

JUNE
Combined AIF Club and Tax Club event - Tax Update
15

Since our last event, a busy year has passed in the tax arena: new tax measures were adopted and new Transfer Pricing rules entered into force in Luxembourg, further direct tax initiatives were discussed within the EU in relation to anti-tax avoidance, significant steps were made to complete OECD’s BEPS actions including the signing of the multilateral instrument to implement the proposed measures. Brexit became a reality.

These developments are critical to the asset management industry, and it is crucial for the success of the industry to be well prepared for these changes and to adapt its operational models together with its investment platforms efficiently under the new rules.

We are expecting more clarity around how tax policy from super-national bodies such as the OECD and local authorities are exactly shaping the design and operations of the alternative investment products.

We are pleased to welcome you to this event where we will discuss these challenges and how to adapt to them.
