EY Luxembourg is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as the national ‘Tax Firm of the Year’ by International Tax Review (ITR) during an award ceremony which took place in London on 21 May 2014. In addition, EY Luxembourg has also been voted as winner in the InterContinental Finance Magazine for the “Private Equity Advisory Firm of the Year in Luxembourg”, the “Real estate Advisory Firm of the Year in Luxembourg” and the “International Tax Advisors of the Year in Luxembourg”.
EY Luxembourg awarded as “national Tax firm of the Year” by ITR
This “‘Tax firm of the Year in Luxembourg” award is the result of a long-lasting submission process of the main tax firms in Europe and a rigorous and in-depth analysis and research of ITR, appearing as the leading monthly publication about cross-border tax issues.
The ITR awards focus on quality of work over a twelve month period, while ignoring the size and breadth of companies, but preferably analyzing quality of clients, work done and reputation of their tax practices. To decide the shortlists & winners, ITR’s team of journalists undertake detailed research from a variety of sources. As submissions of firms are vital, the magazine also consult a large number of tax advisors and lawyers, tax executives and in-house counsel to gain their perspective on the ground-breaking work that take place within a two month period before the winners’ announcement.
The Intercontinental Finance awards
These highly recognized awards are the result of a global vote by 23,456 professionals and a proven methodology characterized by carefully scrutinized forms after the voting process and a two-month research and analysis of the various voting firms to quantify authenticity and enter firms for winning categories.
