Talent Team

The functions of the Talent Team involve designing and implementing effective strategies for managing operations, developing leadership qualities and training programs, paying salaries, managing recruitment, settling in new employees, reporting, and so on.

Brand, Marketing & Communications

Your key objective in our department would be to support positive and strong relations with clients and stakeholders.

Your functions would include:

  • Promoting our services and solutions in the market
  • Communicating our global objectives to our clients, communities, and staff
  • Engaging our people to play an active role in the life of our firm and build a high performing corporate culture
  • Building the commercial value and emotional resonance of the EY brand.

Finance

Finance provides a wide range of services, such as financial reporting, planning and budgeting, financial analysis, finance advisory support, markets support, transaction processing, billing support, statutory reporting, compliance support, and tax support (including risk management and reporting services).

Finance is on a journey towards becoming a global world-class function through Global Finance Transformation (GFT). GFT involves standardizing our processes and systems so that the information we provide to the business is globally integrated. This will provide us with more accurate data and give us more time to focus on our clients so that we can deliver exceptional client service.

This team is also working to enhance EY’s reporting and planning capabilities. This will give partners and management the insights they need to speed up decision-making and improve our profitability. Last but not least, the finance team is streamlining our finance-related IT systems (reducing costs and taking advantage of other opportunities).

Procurement

Procurement provides strategic purchasing solutions for goods and services that EY needs to conduct business.

With a focus on high quality and competitive costs, Procurement manages four major categories: Travel, Meeting & Events; Real Estate; Technology Sourcing; and Products & Services.

  • Travel includes airlines, hotels, car rentals, rail, motor transportation, travel agency costs, online booking tools, business charge cards, and Meetings & Events.
  • Real Estate includes occupancy expenses comprising office rent and operating expenses, interior design, construction, furniture and office furnishings – including those of EY@Work – and the associated depreciation.
  • Technology covers application and infrastructure software, professional and managed services, application development, hardware, and telecommunications.
  • Products & Services includes Talent; Facilities Management; Professionals Services; and Brand, Marketing and Communications.

IT

The EY IT Team supports the technology development needs of our firm. They are responsible for planning, developing and supporting many of the IT applications used across the organization. They provide an end-to-end development service on specific platforms to design, test and build the applications required to meet EY’s business needs. They also develop applications for mobile technology.

Working in the EY IT Team, you will join a global network of IT experts and will be able to help not only your regional colleagues but even those from other countries. Key to your career is that EY works with a lot of specialized corporate software and, in particular, is highly focused on security and new technologies for you to improve as a professional every day.

EY Knowledge

EY Knowledge is a global team of professionals working to help colleagues understand their clients’ business environments, to win more work and to deepen client relationships.

This team gives our employees extensive access to the knowledge of management consultants, researchers, analysts, learning professionals, content managers, writers, collaboration consultants, measurement professionals, project managers, and more. They work to create and accelerate access to information, expertise and content that help you to:

  • Win more work – and at a lower cost of sales
  • Deliver work more effectively and efficiently
  • Position EY in target markets.

Risk Management

Risk Management oversees organization-wide activities designed to help all of our people meet our global and local compliance responsibilities, as well as to support our client-facing teams in delivering quality and exceptional client service. Risk Management works closely with all parts of the business to identify and manage EY's risk, providing coordinated advice and assistance on independence, conflicts, compliance, regulatory issues, security, claims, ethics and other risk matters.

In-House Legal

Legal supports EY’s business by serving as trusted advisors to the EY community and providing the highest quality legal services to EY’s service lines and business enablement functions. Legal consists of teams of experienced in-house counsel in over 40 countries that work within our Global or Regional General Counsel’s Offices (GCOs) and are available to assist and advise EY professionals on the full range of legal-related matters that arise during the course of business.
