Mikhail Romanov appointed EY CIS Telecommunications, Media and Technology industry leader
MOSCOW, 15 May 2013 – EY, a global assurance and advisory leader, announced that Mikhail Romanov is appointed Partner and Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) industry leader in the CIS across all service lines, including assurance, tax, advisory and transaction services.
"Mikhail's task is further development of EY's priority and key accounts and expansion of the presence of TMT global practice in the Russian and CIS markets across all service lines," said Karl Johansson, CIS Managing Partner, EY.

Mikhail's professional career:
2011-2013 – Partner, Communications Media and Hi Tech Russian (CMT) Practice Leader at Accenture.
2007-2011 – President, GMCS, a leading Russian provider of IT advisory services and implementation of business applications. Since 2009 is also CEO of NST - New Service Technologies, a leading service and support provider for Telecom infrastructure and facilities.
2003-2007 – Partner at Strategix, a division of Infocrossing (Brea, CA), Practice Director - Europe, Vice President. IT advisory services provider in infrastructure management, corporate and IT solutions.
1996-2003 – Worked at Global Business Solution (later SolutionBank, Los Angeles, California/ Amsterdam, the Netherlands), where he grew from project manager through practice director to Practice Director - Europe and Vice President.
Prior to 1996 – Senior Consultant at Platinum Russia, Financial Consultant at Tengizchevroil, a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation, Tengiz (Kazakhstan).
Degree in Social Studies, Moscow State Lomonosov University.
