Awards and recognition

We benchmark ourselves regularly against other organisations and are proud of our high standards. But don't just take our word for it. These are just some of the awards and accreditations we have won recently:

EY - stonewall star performer

After many years of consistent high performance in the annual Stonewall Workplace Equality Index (WEI) that showcases the UK’s top 100 gay-friendly public and private sector employers, we have now graduated into a brand new category.

Stonewall have launched their ‘Star Performer’ organisations programme and we are very proud that EY is part of the inaugural group of 8 organisations who qualify for this special recognition. We are also thrilled to be the only Big Four firm to do so.

This means that we won’t appear in the annual Top 100 list as we are now a part of Stonewall’s very highest performing organisations and instead will be measured on a series of challenging, mutually agreed goals designed to challenge us and move our agenda forward.

Previous to receiving this excellent recognition, we were very proud that the firm was listed in the top ten of the WEI since 2010. EY also ranked higher than our Big Four competitors since 2009.

Unity (EY's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Network) continues to enjoy its own great recognition as a Stonewall 'Star Performer Network Group'.

EY - The Times Top 50 Employers for Women 2015

Listed as one of The Times Top 50 Employers for Women 2016. This recognition reflects the great work that the firm is doing to promote gender diversity. It also recognises the contribution made by the EY Women’s Network, who provide development opportunities for their members and great engagement with our clients and the wider community.

EY - Irish WEI 2015

EY named 2015 Irish ‘Employer of the Year’ for LGBT people after ranking 1st in the inaugural GLEN Irish Workplace Equality Index. In addition to this great recognition, EY also won three additional awards:

  • Unity – EY’s LGBTA Network, was named ‘LGBT Network of the Year’.
