What is it?
A year spent in our fast-paced global business, working with our clients and sitting some of your professional exams. You’ll be immersed in client work and could get a head start towards a professional accountancy qualification too.
If things go really well and we offer you a graduate position, you may be lucky enough to attend our International Intern Leadership Conference (IILC) in Florida the summer before you start full-time.
Why do it?
For a start, you’ll get paid during your placement. And, depending on what part of the business you choose, we’ll support you in gaining a professional qualification. And if you get on well, there’ll be a job at the end of it for you. How far and fast you go with that job is up to you.
Then there’s the experience itself. You’ll be spending time with exciting clients and interesting colleagues. A placement can really provide some context for your degree, showing you how what you’ve learnt applies to the world of business.
Where can I complete an EY Placement?
Placements are available at a number of our offices around the UK. When you search for opportunities online, we’ll show you what’s available where.
Who can join?
Placements are open to penultimate year students studying for an honours degree.
How do I apply?
You’ll need to complete our online application form and Strengths Assessment. We’ll send you the link when you’ve submitted your online application form.
If all goes well, you’ll meet us at an interview. We’ll be aiming to discover your individual strengths to see if they match what we’re looking for. It’s also your chance to learn more about us.
Then we’ll invite you to a day at an Assessment Centre. You’ll take part in a team exercise and written case study. But the main aim of the day is for you to see what it’s like at EY, and for us to learn a little more about your natural strengths.
Finally, we’ll decide whether you’re right for us. And you can decide if we’re right for you.
