EY’s school-leaver programme has today been named as the best in the UK in the 2014 Allaboutschoolleavers awards.

The professional services firm also picked up awards for the top sponsored degree, best use of social media, and was runner up in the overall employer category.

The rankings were based on anonymous satisfaction surveys from school and college leavers employed by the companies, and covered a range of factors including job satisfaction, skills development, training, career progression, salary and benefits.

Julie Stanbridge, Head of Student Recruitment at EY, comments: “It is a fantastic achievement to be recognised for our school-leaver programme, sponsored degree programme and social media activity.

“We have seen unprecedented demand for our school leaver programme since it launched in 2012 and have doubled the size of the programme in response. It offers a great opportunity for those interested in advancing their career, working with global, cutting-edge business while studying for a professional qualification.”

EY will be taking on 100 school-leavers across the UK and applications are open for September 2014.
