EY appointed auditor to Schroders plc

We can confirm that, following a competitive tender process, EY has been proposed as auditors to Schroders plc. Pending shareholder approval at the 2018 Annual General Meeting, EY would be appointed for the period commencing 1 January 2018.

The announcement will further strengthen EY’s strong credentials in the financial services sector and leading position in the wealth and asset management sector.

Schroders is the latest of a number of large UK corporates to choose EY as auditor. Other recent examples include the RELX group, Royal Dutch Shell, Royal Bank of Scotland, Wesleyan, Foreign & Colonial, Sainsbury's, The London Stock Exchange Group, The Co-operative Bank, Sage Group, Land Securities, the BBC, Dyson and the Audit Commission.
