- Digital transformation leader in the running to be named digital leader of the year
EY’s digital transformation leader, Jyoti Sharma, has been nominated as a finalist for ‘digital leader of the year’ at the Women in IT Awards – a prestigious event dedicated to tackling the technology industry’s gender imbalance.
Jyoti joined EY’s London People Advisory Services team in February 2016. She assists clients globally with HR and technology transformation. In her 12 months with EY, Jyoti has established herself as a global leader, working with EY firms in USA, South Africa and the Netherlands. Her key focus has been to drive the convergence of technology and organisational culture and the essential changes that companies need to make to ride the tide of digital innovation which is in constant flux.
Prior to joining EY, Jyoti provided IT advice and implementation solutions for a series of US-based companies. She has also become an SAP bestselling author on Success Factors and is one of the few female speakers in the world to present on the subject of cloud migration and adoption in USA, UK, Europe and South Africa.
Jyoti said: “Throughout my career, I’ve met many women who have been life-long inspirations. It’s an honour to be able to continue counselling and coaching women at EY and humbling to play a small role in developing the next generation of women leaders.
“The gender imbalance within the technology industry can be disheartening but events like the Women in IT Awards play an immeasurable role in ensuring that the achievements of the many brilliant women working in the industry are recognised and celebrated.”
The awards ceremony will take place on 25 January at Grosvenor House on Park Lane. More than 650 industry leaders are expected to attend with the judging panel made of technology leaders from a cross-section of national and multinational businesses and organisations.
