26th Annual Cash Management Survey : 2009 Executive Summary (pdf, 401.8kb)
After 5.5% growth in 2007, cash management revenue increased by just 4% in 2008. While this result was well below the 6.5% increase predicted for 2008 by last year’s survey respondents, we view 4% growth as a comparatively robust outcome, considering the magnitude of this recession. The current participants expect a continued but relatively shallow dip in growth rates, predicting a 3% increase for 2009. While we disagree with some specifics of the respondents’ forecast for 2009, we concur with the overall estimate and see 3% growth as a likely outcome.
