Ernst & Young joins Cyberchase to improve math literacy
Ernst & Young is committed to making a positive impact on children’s math and problem-solving competency through our collaboration with PBS’ hit cartoon show Cyberchase.
We have joined forces with PBS and leading community organizations to improve math literacy and problem-solving skills for school-age children through our sponsorship of PBS’ award-winning show Cyberchase. The animated television series teaches kids aged 8–12 math and problem-solving concepts and helps build an appreciation of math as a tool children can use every day.
Building math skills through hands-on learning
In addition to providing major funding for the show, Ernst & Young also sponsors an innovative after-school program that brings the Cyberchase experience to life through fun, educational, hands-on workshops. By encouraging kids to see, think and do math in their world, Ernst & Young volunteers are helping young people build a math foundation for careers in business, science and engineering, while encouraging them to manage their personal finances as they move into their teen years.
How can you get your kids excited about math?
Building on our successful volunteer program, we have collaborated with PBS to create the Ernst &Young/Cyberchase Travel Edition—a set of web-based, downloadable math activities that make it easy to engage kids in age appropriate learning. Ernst &Young professionals have used these activities at home with their children, in their communities and as programming for Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.
Please note
Ernst & Young does not accept unsolicited funding requests.
