Fake EY internships and jobs scam

Shadows of businesspeople

We are aware of fake internship and job scams that may be using spoofed LinkedIn or Google+ profiles of EY people. Please protect yourself and be on the lookout for some common warning signs:

  • Ernst & Young LLP will never ask you for money for training, classes, equipment, software, etc.
  • Legitimate Ernst & Young LLP employees have email addresses ending in @ey.com. If someone claiming to be an Ernst & Young LLP employee or recruiter contacts you with an unsolicited internship or job offer and it seems suspicious, ask to be contacted via an EY corporate email account.
  • Ernst & Young LLP will never initiate contact with you via text message.
  • Be cautious of emails with grammatical and spelling errors.
  • The only way to apply for a position at Ernst & Young LLP is through our online applicant tracking system, which is accessible only from ey.com.
