Hanoi, 27 August 2013 - Effective from 3 September 2013, EY Vietnam - Hanoi branch will be relocating to a new office building in the center of the business hub, while building a better working environment for its people and a better working world for its clients and community.

Starting from 1 July 2013, EY announced to adopt Building a better working world as its purpose. As one of the leading global professional organizations, EY understands its obligation to look beyond its self-interest and engage with the world. It believes that in a better working world trust increases, so capital flows smoothly and investors make informed decisions. Businesses grow sustainably, employment rises, consumers spend and businesses invest in their communities. More than just growth, a better working world harnesses and develops talent in all its forms and encourages collaboration.

To achieve this ambitious objective, EY’s Global CEO, Mark said: “We use our global reach and our relationships with clients, governments and other stakeholders to create positive change. Every day, every EY person, who demonstrate integrity, respect and teaming, have the energy, enthusiasm and courage to lead and build relationships based on doing the right things, is part of building a better working world – for our clients, our communities, and our families. We believe that everything we do – every audit, every tax return, every advisory opportunity, every interaction with a client or colleague – contributes to building a better working world”.

Making the vision alive, EY Vietnam has invested in a new office in the heart of the business hub of Hanoi as it first effort to start the journey of building a better working work, starting with its own people. The new workspace adapts to meet changes in technology, working patterns and the demand to expand training and learning centre in response to sustainable growth. With a modern look and design, it brings about heightened connectivity with the new department adjacencies in the layout, allowing EY’s professional staff to come up with more creative and innovative solutions and work as effectively and efficiently as possible.

“Before building a better working world, we build our employees as the builders and the environment to support them to bring out their best. The new office provides a flexible and dynamic environment to support exceptional client service and improve collaboration with colleagues and clients. We start with ourselves where talented individuals and high performing team work together to bring insights and advice, dedication and skill to our clients. That is how we start to build a better working world”, said Mr. Tran Dinh Cuong, Country Managing Partner of EY Vietnam.
