EY is pleased to recognise the achievements of this year's Master category finalists:

Asher Bohbot  Asher Bohbot - EOH

Asher Bohbot, BSc, MAP serves as the Chief Executive Officer of EOH Holdings Limited. Mr. Bohbot joined Laminate Industries (later to be part of the PG Group) as an industrial engineering manager In 1981.

He served as Logistics Director of Laminate Industries since 1990. He was subsequently promoted to the position of General Manager of Laminate Industries. He was the as Executive Director of Distribution of main board of PG Bison. He took responsibility for Logistics ... and IT at PG Bison in 1995.

Throughout his career, he was exposed to general business leadership, business systems and supply chain logistics, leading four major system implementations. He moved to South Africa in 1980 where he joined AECI as a senior engineer. Mr. Bohbot serves as a Director of EOH Holdings Limited since August 6,1998. He served as a Director of Enterprise Outsourcing Holdings Limited August 6,1998. Mr. Bohbot holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from MAP.


Stephen Koseff Stephen Koseff - Investec

Stephen Koseff is Chief Executive Officer of the Investec Group which has dual listing on both the London Stock Exchange and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Stephen has been with the company for 32 years in various capacities and has been in his current role as Chief Executive Officer since 1996.

Stephen is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Higher Diploma in Business Data Processing.

In addition to his directorships of Investec Ltd and Investec plc and various other Investec subsidiaries. He is a non-executive director of The Bidvest Group Limited and the South African Banking Association. He is a former Chairman of the South African Banking Association and former director of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, former member of the Financial Markets Advisory Board, and former Chairman of the Independent Bankers Association.

 Colin Lazurus  Colin Lazarus - Lazarus Motor Company 

Colin Lazarus took over Lazarus Motor Company and was able to transform a small single franchise rural automotive business with very limited prospects into a multi franchise metro dealership admired by leaders in the motor industry.

During this 33 year journey of growth from minor rural dealer to large metro dealer, Colin had to overcome major challenges including devastating droughts, political uncertainty and sanctions in the country and economic recessions. 

The company consists of six retail automotive dealerships, namely Ford, Mazda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo and Kia with its core activities being sales of new and used vehicles, workshops, parts sales and a fitment centre.
The business developed from humble beginnings as a tractor retailer in a small rural town called Bronkhorstspruit.
