As a global organization, EY has an opportunity to address the impact of inequities and injustice, and push for progress within EY and beyond. We commit to advance social equity and inclusive growth and stand against injustice, bias, discrimination and racism.

Social equity means that each person at EY has access to the resources and opportunities they need, given different starting points and different needs. It also means removing barriers to opportunities and inclusive experiences that may lead to unequal outcomes. 

We believe businesses have direct influence to address these gaps and build a better working world, through the way we team and lead, the cultures we create on teams, how we assign and value work, how we evaluate performance, and make advancement and appointment decisions.

EY awarded global equality standard (GES) recognition

GES is one of the first worldwide diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I) certifications of its kind. It is used to provide an in-depth diagnostic of all aspects of DE&I. It allows employers to assess the extent to which DE&I is embedded throughout the organization’s systems, processes and operations while providing guidance on leading practices and valuable benchmarking. EY joins several other world renowned organizations in obtaining this honor and this is a demonstration of our ongoing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusiveness.

    Our Americas Inclusiveness Advisory Council

    The EY Americas Inclusiveness Advisory Council (IAC) is comprised of influential EY leaders from across the Americas, representing each service line, region and function. The council is dedicated to elevating and advancing diversity and inclusiveness (D&I) across the organization. It is part of our significant investment in D&I as a key pillar of our business strategy and our commitment to bring different perspectives to serve our clients. Co-chaired by Kelly Grier, EY US Chair and Americas Managing Partner, and Leslie Patterson, Americas and US Diversity, Equity and Inclusiveness Leader, the IAC meets regularly to share leading practices, explore D&I challenges and trending topics, and collaborate on actions to accelerate D&I progress.
