Thomas Sucic – New Head of Brand, Marketing and Communications

ZURICH, 5. October 2017 – Thomas Sucic took over as Head of Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) at EY in Switzerland on 2 October 2017. In this role he will be part of the five-person BMC leadership team in the GSA (Germany, Switzerland and Austria) region. At the same time, Karin Mateu will be responsible for shaping relations between EY and Swiss media editorial offices.

Thomas Sucic has over ten years of experience in services and human-to-human marketing. Most recently he held an executive role in the marketing department of an auditing and consulting company. Sucic completed his economic studies in business administration at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences.

Thomas Sucic will help EY establish itself further as a leading consultancy and auditing firm in a rapidly changing market. He will do this in particular by showing Swiss business and the public that EY is the ideal partner for the transition from the old to the new reality, which is very much digital in nature, globally networked and in a process of upheaval.

An important role will be played by professional relationships with media representatives and editorial offices in Switzerland. As the new staff member in charge of carrying this out in Switzerland, EY has appointed Karin Mateu, also with effect from 2 October 2017. She holds a master's in management and corporate communication which she completed whilst in work. She has over seven years of professional experience in communication within the umbrella organization of the Swiss economy, where she was also responsible for various projects and campaigns. In her new position she will intensify exchanges with the media and continue to develop content and quality.
