The New ISSB Requirements – Are you ready?

The pace of change in Sustainability Reporting and Assurance is one of the most significant changes to financial reporting seen in decades. The developments are elevating the need for independent assurance to enhance stakeholder confidence in the quality and reliability of information published. The ISSB’s climate-related and general sustainability-related standards are expected to be adopted in Australia from 2024 onwards. Are you ready for their implementation? What can you be doing now to help prepare?

Join us for a virtual event on the new ISSB standards and what they mean for you as a leading Australian CFO. EY’s Sustainability and Assurance specialists will share an overview of the requirements and the better questions you should be asking as you prepare for their implementation.

Budget Preview Event – What will the latest Economic Outlook and Budget mean for you?

On 9 May, Treasurer Jim Chalmers will hand down the 2023-24 Federal Budget, outlining the Albanese Government’s policy priorities for the year ahead. Against the backdrop of a slowing economy, uncomfortably high inflation and rising interest rates, this Budget will need to tackle demands for relief from the cost of living, without making the Reserve Bank’s job harder.

We invite you to join Cherelle Murphy, Chief Economist EY Oceania and Felicity Emmett, Senior Economist ANZ, for a Pre-Budget Briefing on what you can expect to see on 9 May, and the potential implications for various sectors and businesses.
