As EY Global Advanced Manufacturing & Mobility Advisory Leader, David is growing the EY Global Advisory footprint across advanced manufacturing and mobility sub-sectors, including chemicals, industrial products, manufacturing, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, suppliers, dealers, captive finance, airlines, shipping, rail and logistics.

In this role, he focuses on addressing the disruption and innovation impacting the advanced manufacturing and mobility industries.

Prior to returning to EY in 2011, he spent seven years at a software company. In the 1990s, he was an Automotive Consulting Partner at Ernst & Young LLP and the director of business process reengineering at an electric company. He started his career at a multinational technology company, first as an advanced manufacturing engineer in robotics and plant automation and then as a systems engineer in the automotive industry.

David received an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.

“I get energized about supporting the resurgence of the City of Detroit. I lead the EY community engagement in the Detroit market, including our position on the Campaign Cabinet for the United Way for Southeastern Michigan, and sit on the board for the Alexis de Tocqueville Society of the United Way.”
