Gus leads EY Climate Change and Sustainability Services in MENA. He helps clients provide sustainability agendas for people, cities and infrastructure, support developing government policy that assists the growth of renewable energy projects and helps manage associated business transformation programs

Building on 25 years of experience in management consulting, his career has focused on developing large work programs with private and public sector organizations globally

Over the past 10 years, he has worked closely with international clients to address integrating sustainability into long-term business strategy and growth plans, assimilating financial information with environmental, social and governance information in company reports and helping organizations understand their activities’ impact on the economy, environment and society

Gus holds an International Business certificate from New York University, an MBA from Imperial College London and a BSc in Biology and Oceanography from the University of Southampton

How Gus is building a better working world

Governments and businesses across the globe are shifting their focus to better understand how changing environmental, social and economic realities might impact their societies and operations. MENA is particularly vulnerable to the effects of climate change. They will manifest themselves through increasing costs and scarcity of raw materials including food, water and energy, as well as (eventually) rising sea levels and temperatures

I lead a team that works with clients to understand and navigate the risks and opportunities arising from this changing physical and business landscape in MENA. We aim to encourage continued viability and, more importantly, lessen our impact on the planet
