EY announces 1.033 new partner promotions worldwide

• The EY organization announces that 1.033 people have been promoted to partner across the globe, the largest ever cohort of new partners.
• Women and the Assurance service line represent 32% and 33% of this year’s new partner class respectively.
• In Belgium, 13 new partners were appointed, bringing the total number to 135.

By service line, on a global level Assurance accounted for the largest proportion of partner promotions with 344 (33%). It was followed by Consulting, with 265 (26%); Strategy and Transactions, with 171 (16%) and Tax, with 235 (23%). Additionally, there are 18 new partners in business support (2%). On a geographical basis, EY member firms in Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) had the largest proportion of new partners, with 423 promotions (41%) followed by the Americas area with 398 promotions (39%). New partners in EY member firms in the Asia-Pacific area totaled 212 (20%).

Overall, EY has more than 312.250 employees in more than 150 countries around the world.
