As the National Enterprise Risk Leader at EY Canada, Jas leads a team of professionals across the country supporting key solutions including enterprise risk management, risk transformation, internal audit, regulatory agendas and internal controls. She is also responsible for setting the strategy and vision to remain the fastest growing enterprise risk consulting practice in Canada. Jas specializes in the delivery and innovation of risk, regulatory and compliance mandates across the three lines of defense. She has led multi-year transformational risk mandates for some of the largest organizations globally. Prior to this, Jas founded and led EY Canada’s Financial Services Process, Risk and Control Practice.

Jas frequently advises corporate boards, executives, and business leaders on risk mitigation strategies to address the changing risk landscape.

Keenly interested in the potential of innovative technologies to transform regulatory risk and control mandates, Jas has led teams that are pioneering the use of robotics processing automation (RPA), analytics and artificial intelligence tools to enable advanced regulatory compliance strategies and systems.

Jas is a Chartered Professional Accountant of Ontario and has earned her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Ottawa.
