Gender equity is spiralling backwards. Even the best World Economic Forum estimates suggest it will take another 135 years to reach gender parity. That’s 35 years longer than expected last year. Still, change is possible — if we meet the moment by taking bold action now. Why? Gender equity can’t be achieved by policies and procedures alone. Individuals, organizations and communities must drive change together.
At EY, we’re embracing everyday actions — both big and small — to dismantle barriers, break biases and accelerate social progress. That means intentionally creating work environments where differences are celebrated and everyone belongs, and by advocating for meaningful change through our supplier diversity programs, female entrepreneurship platforms and EY Ripples equity initiatives.
