SIX Update

This year's SIX Update will be held on Tuesday, 28 November 2023 at the SIX ConventionPoint in Zurich.

We will cover current developments in accounting and financial reporting as well as practial insights. We will also discuss the current implementation status of the indirect counterproposal to the Responsible Business Initiative (OR 964) for the current fiscal year as well as further trends related to the sustainability agenda. 

Reto Zemp, Head of Corporate Reporting at SIX Exchange Regulation AG, and Stefan Suter, Deputy Head of Corporate Reporting at SIX Exchange Regulation AG, will share the latest news on the topics of accounting and corporate reporting.

Mark Veser (Head Climate Change and Sustainability Services) and Stephan Geiger (Head Climate Change and Sustainability Services – Advisory) both from EY will present about the current Swiss requirements about Sustainability Reporting and Supply Chain Due Diligence. Finally, we will discuss the Swiss Ordinance on Climate Disclosures, which is set to take effect in the upcoming fiscal year, in a panel discussion and will provide an outlook based on trends and the wider regulatory agenda. This will be rounded off with a Panel discussion where they will be joined by Jean-Damien Bogner (Executive Director at Julius Baer, Climate & Sustainability Risk) to talk about upcoming challenges related to the implementation of the Swiss Climate Ordinance, which will be a priority topic for many Swiss institutions next year.
