Leads a network of over 10,000 EY people who use the geographic mapping tool that he developed within EY. Author of “The Puffin Diaries,” an ecological discovery journey around the Arctic Circle.

Rich is the Partner for the Growing Beyond Borders program at EY Global Ltd, helping clients better assess geographic opportunities and risk, and making better business decisions.

Based in London for the past eight years, Rich previously had 15 years experience as a Partner at EY South Africa, including five as the EY Africa Markets leader. He has served as a client service partner in three of the four service lines, and at different times led the Africa Transaction Advisory, Global Compliance and Human Capital practices. In 2010, Rich initiated and led the development of the Growing Beyond Borders program and has led its global rollout since then.

Rich is a qualified chartered accountant, who holds an MA in English writing, and enjoys travel writing in his spare time.
