EY is proud founding partner of HEART 17, a new global initiative launched today in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
“HEART 17 is based on the belief that when people feel hope, they can take responsibility, leading to action and results. To work closely with an organization that wants to spark hope among young people, making their voices heard and connect their message with world leaders and policymakers is a perfect fit for us and ties well into our own purpose of “Building a better working world”. Together with HEART 17 I honestly believe that we can make not just an impact, but a difference”, says Jesper Almström, Regional Managing Partner in the Nordics.
HEART 17 will focus on building connections between youth, artists, creators, business leaders and changemakers to amplify voices and drive action to achieve the Sustainable Global Goals.
EY is sponsoring the initiative as founding partner, but we are supporting HEART 17 in a number of other ways as well, e.g. built the platform heart17.com, project support by EY consultants, and last but not least, using our voice and network to create awareness about HEART 17 to get more people and companies to join.
HEART 17’s vision and plan are launched today at the UN World Creativity and Innovation Day, with a digital event that manifests creativity, culture and collaboration. Together with The Swedish Royal Opera, UNDP, Stockholm Art Week and EY Doberman, HEART 17 has created an inspiring program including speakers, performances and discussion beyond the extraordinary. Please join us for the event on heart17.com at 21 April, 15:00 CET.
