EY Georgia announces two appointments in service line leadership positions in Georgia effective from 1 March 2021. Ani Subeliani will lead EY Georgia’s Strategy and Transactions services and Giorgi Tsintskiladze will lead EY Georgia’s Consulting services. Ani and Giorgi will replace Zviad Memarnishvili, who has established and led these service lines in Georgia up to now.

Ani is a manager of our Strategy and Transactions service line. She is a graduate of the Free University, Tbilisi, and Master of Business Administration from Ilia State University. Ani has more than seven years of professional experience. She has participated in a wide range of financial advisory services for banking, hospitality, retail, energy, agro, real estate and other industries. She has developed a deep understanding of the market, a strong professional background and has demonstrated leaderships skills, which will help her in adding a momentum to the development of our Strategy and Transactions practice in Georgia.

Giorgi is a manager in our Consulting service line, with a key qualification in Cybersecurity and IT Risk Assurance. He is a graduate of the International Black Sea University (Tbilisi, Georgia) with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Technologies & Engineering. In addition, Giorgi holds the Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) and ISO/IEC 27001 Internal Auditor professional certificates. He joined EY Consulting practice in 2014 and, since then, has participated and led EY teams in multiple projects helping organizations from different sectors protect their enterprises, level-up technology capabilities and grow their businesses through strong cybersecurity. Giorgi’s experience includes technology strategy, risk management and end-to-end cybersecurity program development and implementation. He will continue to specialize primarily within the field of Cybersecurity and IT Risk Assurance but will also overlook and lead EY’s efforts to provide a wide range of consulting services to our clients in Georgia.

Zviad started his professional career with EY and devoted his energy and heart to our firm for 16 years.  During this incredible journey Zviad worked in different service lines and geographies. Most recently he led establishment of two service lines (Consulting; Strategy and Transactions) in Georgia and contributed greatly to their growth over the past four years. Under his leadership our Strategy and Transactions service line grew from zero to ten professionals, and he has participated in multiple transactions in various financial advisory roles, facilitating over USD 1 billion in transaction value. Our Consulting service line, now counting seven professionals, has established its name firmly in the areas of IT and Cyber security, providing our clients with valuable advice on a wide range of issues. Most importantly, under Zviad’s mentorship a new generation of young leaders has emerged, capable of continuing our growth journey and living our purpose of building a better working world.

Ruslan Khoroshvili, EY Georgia’s Country Managing Partner, says:

“At a time when EY clients are turning to us for both traditional and newer range of services, these appointments further underline EY’s commitment to providing exceptional client service and our ambition to continue to be at the forefront of our profession in Georgia. An important part of what we stand for is development of local expertise and growth of our people. We are proud of Ani’s and Giorgi’s fast development and are confident in their ability to continue the legacy.

I thank Zviad for his great work and achievements. Zviad is an outstanding person with a strong vision. He has helped EY deliver consecutive years of strong growth through a focus on providing high-quality services, harnessing the vast expertise of EY’s global infrastructure and developing exceptional EY people. His departure has been felt emotionally by many, but life has its course and whenever you join, however long you stay, the exceptional EY experience lasts a lifetime!”
