Areas of focus

Kerstin is a senior member of the Retail Strategy Consulting team for EY Germany, Switzerland and Austria, advising major retailers, wholesalers and consumer brands.

After 25 years in the industry, she has seen everything that can be sold via brick-and-mortar stores, online or any other sales channel – with specific experience in areas driven by fashion lifecycles.

Recognized as a leader in her field, Kerstin specializes in supporting brands and retailers in reshaping themselves toward consumer-centric business models. She regularly works with executive boards to shake -up their strategic agendas and is a frequent speaker at industry events.

Kerstin’s focus has been on developing new business areas and strategically redirecting businesses, driven by either expansion and diversification or adapting to market lifecycles and channel shifts. She works closely with EY-Parthenon’s advanced analytics consulting team to continually develop and deploy AI-based solutions for the retail sector's many complexity-driven issues.
