Recent years have seen unprecedented changes in policy and regulatory matters impacting financial institutions and the coming years should be no different. At EY, public policy paves the way for a sustainable future by building bridges between EY and regulators, policy makers and other stakeholders. By participating in relevant policy debates and providing valuable insights, the EMEIA Financial Services Public Policy team ensures the key financial services topics and stakeholders across the EU, EEA, Switzerland and the UK are considered and addressed in EY global public policy strategy.

It is a busy time in the public policy world for both public and private sector stakeholders. Consequently, we continue to support EY clients and interact with regulators and supervisors by focusing on the following priorities in the months ahead: climate change and sustainability, corporate governance and audit reform, the anti-money laundering reform in the EU, third-party risk management, and finally emerging technology concerns.
