A leading financial services regulatory professional, John is EY Global Financial Services Regulatory Network Co-Lead and EY EMEIA Financial Services Compliance and Conduct Leader, leading dialogue with key regulatory and public authorities.

His leadership in the industry helps him support efforts to achieve regulatory objectives. He leads engagements with banks and other major financial institutions to address regulatory challenges, achieve effective and efficient compliance in a rapidly changing and demanding environment, and build capabilities to facilitate the sustainable transformation of the industry.

Prior to joining EY, he was Compliance Director of the wealth division of a major British investment bank, developing the global compliance function, leading supervisory and policy regulatory relationships and playing an active role in business change.

A Chartered Accountant, John earned his MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
