Dr. Maarten Dubois

EY Belgium Climate Change and Sustainability Director

Sustainability Advocate. Helping governments to accelerate circular economy. Hockey player and coach. Proud dad of three kids.

As the Director in the Climate Change and Sustainability department, Maarten advises private and public clients in sustainability matters.

Before joining EY, Maarten has been an environmental specialist in the oil and gas sector and manager of an academic research center.

Maarten is author of OECD reports on circular economy and contributor in academic journals. Moreover, he is part of the circular economy expert group for the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

Maarten has extensive experience with modelling, market analysis, benchmarking, supply chain mapping, sustainable reports, audits, strategy development, stakeholder consultation and workshop facilitation.

He holds a PhD in Environmental Economics from KU Leuven and an MSc in Business Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Advanced Economics.
