Stefan joined EY is 2006 and is the EMEIA leader of the Forensic & Integrity Services practice. He oversees more than 2,000 professionals across the region focusing on fraud and corruption across multiple industries as well as on investigations, prevention and litigation. Prior to this, Stefan served as EY Global Sectors Leader and EY GSA Forensics Leader.
Before joining EY, Stefan spent eight years in the Forensics practice of another Big Four firm. Earlier in his career, he was a detective with the criminal police in Frankfurt, investigating fraud and corruption.
Stefan earned two diplomas in Economics and a PhD in Economics. His thesis focused on the behavioral analysis of white-collar crime.
