Tax Administrations around the world are using technology to change their approach on tax monitoring and debts collection, in order to combat tax evasion and better direct support towards businesses.

Today, given the new reality shaped by COVID-19, digital transformation is necessary for both Tax Administrations and businesses. The Hellenic Ministry of Finance and the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE) have already set the framework for transferring business transaction data on the myDATA platform within 2020, as well as the interconnection of electronic taxation mechanisms with “Taxis” and the provision of incentives for the issuance of e-invoices.

In this context, EY in Greece, in collaboration with the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EVEA) and the Hellenic Industries Association (SVE), will deliver an informative webcast, on July 1st , 16:00-17:30 (Greece time), focusing on supporting business executives in familiarizing themselves with the e-books, the myDATA platform and e-invoices.
