Zvonimir is a Partner and Financial Services Leader in Assurance services in EY Croatia. He joined EY in 1999 and specializes in financial services industry, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as well as banking and insurance regulatory environment.
He has a vast experience in auditing clients of various sizes and complexity in financial services, real estate and hospitality, production and trade (wholesale and retail) sectors and providing transaction support services.
With his great knowledge of the financial services industry, financial instruments and IFRS, Zvonimir is a local knowledge resource for those areas. Zvonimir is also a member of the Croatian Financial reporting standards committee, an expert body appointed by the Government of the Republic of Croatia, which is authorized to analyze and monitor the development of accounting theory and practice, as well as the adoption and publication of Croatian Financial Reporting Standards.
He is a frequent lecturer in a number of internal and external IFRS focused seminars, including the events co-hosted by Croatian Chamber of Auditors as well as in a number of events for financial services industry.
Zvonimir graduated on the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb, and is a Certified Auditor with the Croatian Chamber of Auditors, a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Certified Auditor with the Association of Accountants and Auditors of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Zvonimir is also the Chairman of ethics and professional standards committee of the Croatian Audit Chamber.
