EY announces new Global Insurance Leader

NEW YORK, 16 NOVEMBER 2018. EY announces the appointment of David Hollander as the new EY Global Insurance Leader. In this role, David will lead a team of more than 12,000 industry professionals globally who are committed to helping insurance clients transform and reshape their business models across EY audit, business consulting, tax and corporate finance services.

Hollander has more than 30 years of experience working in and advising the insurance industry, including broad business and IT strategy, hands-on leadership and implementation support for major operational change programs.

Prior to joining EY, Hollander built and ran the global insurance software business for a major consulting firm, served as the CEO of a SaaS-based policy administration solution based in the UK and served on the board of a top 40 insurance carrier in the US. He succeeds Shaun Crawford, who has been named EY Global Vice Chair – Industry.

Hollander holds a degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
