Bernardus has been active as a consultant to investors, corporations, bilateral agencies, as well as central and local governments in Indonesia on infrastructure, PPP and urban planning projects. His experience has been extensive and unique, as he had successfully completed significant transactions, corporate actions, and transformation programs in infrastructure assets and businesses, including ports, toll roads, water and power.
Prior to joining EY, his 28 years of professional experience includes a managing partner of HD Asia Advisory, where he works as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies, and local and national governments. He had practical infrastructure corporate experience as board of management of PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk, as Independent Commissioner of PT Jababeka Infrastructure, and as Chief Representative Officer for Hawkins Infrastructure Ltd. New Zealand.
Having extensive experience in senior positions with leading global companies, Bernadus has served as manager with American Express Bank, director for EY before moving to another Big Four firm where he was appointed director of business development.
He is currently the President of Indonesia Urban & Regional Planners, and also member of the Advisory Council of APEC Center for Urban Infrastructure Financing at RMIT Melbourne, and Fellow/Faculty at the Salzburg Global Seminar.
