Recent decades have seen a remarkable shift in the attention paid to entrepreneurship.

The role and importance of the entrepreneur is now widely acknowledged as the engine that drives and sustains an economy. That is why, for the past 22 years, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ programme has upheld the honour of working with leading entrepreneurs across the island of Ireland.

On the 21st November at our Gala Awards we look forward to celebrating our 24 current Finalists, who have championed bravery, backed boldness and made significant sacrifices to create enterprise and employment.

By going digital for this year's 1,500 brochures, we have saved 75,000 pages of ink and paper.

Small steps matter.

Attendees include our incredible EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Alumni along with an extended community of over 1,500 professionals from over 600 businesses on the island of Ireland.

Showcasing our Alumni to inspire others is one of the key ways in which EY attempts to nurture the field of entrepreneurship, and in turn support economic growth.  In doing so we aspire to our global purpose of building a better working world.

I have to say that the EOY network Is fantastic. You learn an awful lot both in the programme but also from the other people, and you have a network of people you can pick up the phone to
