Alan is an executive director in EY's financial accounting advisory services team and works with Ireland’s largest listed entities to address the commercial and financial reporting challenges they face in their businesses. He has over fourteen years’ experience advising clients on financial reporting matters (IFRS, FRS 102 and US GAAP); including adoption of new accounting standards; group reorganisations and transactions.
Prior to joining EY, Alan spent some time working with a FTSE 250 plc where he was responsible for all financial reporting and accounting matters including the group financial statements, the consolidation and related board reporting.
Alan is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters in Accounting from University College Dublin.
