As EY's Executive Director, Darragh McCarthy leads the Irish Private Client Services team. He advises and provides solutions to a wide range of private clients and owner-managed businesses.
With over 16 years of transactional experience across a number of sectors and industries, Darragh’s areas of expertise include advising high-net worth individuals, corporate structuring, gift and inheritance tax, taxation of non-Irish domiciliaries, property taxation and remuneration strategies.
Prior to joining EY, Darragh served as Tax Director with another Big Four firm in Ireland. There he gained extensive experience in providing tax advice to Irish companies, international companies and owner-managed businesses.
An Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, he is a business studies and German graduate from Trinity College Dublin.
