India, 29 June 2022: EY has been ranked #1 in
Sustainability magazine’s list of top 10 leading sustainability consultancies. EY beat not only the Big Four, but major strategy houses and IT firms like McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, Bain and Accenture, as well as sustainability consultancies like ERM.
This reiterates EY's leadership in the sustainability and ESG space, and builds on our recent Verdantix recognition, where the analyst confirmed EY as a “leader” compared to our peers.
EY is leading the Big Four on sustainability and ESG
“Congratulations and thanks to everyone in Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS), service lines and sectors who are delivering our EY Sustainability services. The work you’re doing is making an incredible impact in the market and with our clients,” says our Global Vice Chair - Sustainability, Steve Varley.
“We should all be very proud of the progress we are making, which is reinforcing our leadership of the Big Four in the sustainability and ESG space.”
Global CCaSS Leader Matt Bell adds: “This accolade is a great win for EY, and a particular testament to the work of our rapidly growing team of 2,500+ CCaSS professionals."
“As EY’s sustainability nucleus, we are passionate about working with clients globally to help them understand and respond to the risks and opportunities relating to sustainability and ESG – and to be leaders on ESG in their respective sectors and locations.”
EY also ranked #28 of the top 100 companies in sustainability, above the rest of the Big Four
Also in Sustainability magazine, earlier this year EY was recognized at #28 in the Top 100 Companies in Sustainability in 2022 list, among “the ambitious innovators … driving change in their sectors” who are inspiring each other to go further, faster. Once again, EY beat out the rest of the Big Four: KPMG were ranked #36, PwC at #51 and Deloitte at #65.
