Jeff leads EY’s global insurance tax team which helps insurers worldwide balance global, enterprise-wide tax functions with the resources needed to operate in local markets. He also leads the UK Financial Service Tax practice, a team of more than 800 people serving tax clients across banking, insurance and asset management. Prior to that, Jeff led the EMEIA insurance tax team advising clients on all aspects of the taxing of insurance and reinsurance, helping structure and restructuring of tax functions and assisting in transactions
Jeff received BSc(Hons) Accountancy and Law at the University of Southampton. After university, he attended law school where he passed his solicitors exams. He is a qualified accountant and has worked as both a tax lawyer and accountant.
