Ernst & Young Tax Co. (Below, “EY”; Main office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Managing partner: Kazuhiro Ebina) hereby announces the joining of ChuoPartners & Co. and all of its employees, including Chairman Hiroshi Yoshikawa.

ChuoPartners & Co. is a tax firm with a long history of providing an extensive breadth of high quality services to the large corporations in the Chubu region. This joining of forces enables EY to expand the tax services we offer to the Chubu region and further augment our organization, and endows our firm with the ability to provide our clients with an even greater degree of support.

Remarks from Kazuhiro Ebina, Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Tax Co.:

“The Chubu region is slated for remarkable growth in the coming years, and we predict that the region will experience a demand for tax services greater than it has ever seen. Joining forces with EY, the experienced professionals of ChuoPartners & Co. will further enhance the services we offer to the Chubu region, and continue to support the growth of our clients’ businesses.”

Remarks from Hiroshi Yoshikawa, Chairman of ChuoPartners & Co.:

“Since beginning my career in the tax department of Ito Kaikei Jimusho 35 years ago, I have served the Chubu region in the tax and accounting service lines. Upon joining the Nagoya office in July, I will continue to spare no effort to contribute to the growth of our clients’ businesses. When the Linear Chuo Shinkansen line opens in 2027, the ways in which people, goods and funds undergo movement will see exponential evolution. I am filled with anticipation as I think through what must be done prior to these transformations. We will continue to treasure our existing clients as we dedicate ourselves to ensuring that Nagoya remains, in all facets, more than a meager waypoint on the journey between Tokyo and Osaka.”

EY will continue striving to ensure our ability to provide timely, high quality services to each of our increasingly diversifying clients.
