Areas of focus

As the EY Global Energy Law Co-Leader, Simon Collier advises international clients on the acquisition, development, financing and disposal of energy projects around the world. He has experience across the energy value chain — from wind and solar photovoltaic (PV) through green and blue hydrogen, to oil, gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG).

Simon has a particular interest in the development of hydrogen and decarbonization technologies.

Prior to joining EY, he was a Legal Director in the energy projects team at a global law firm.

Simon has a BA in Geography from Durham University, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Law and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from BPP Law School in London.
